Strong women are not born.  Strong Women are well sculpted by design.  The example of others around them help, but experience and sweat and heartache are the true architects.

Strong women say Yes when others say no. They say yes to accepting that it might mean putting in the extra requirements it takes between success and failure. They also say No when they really need to. You see strength should not be determined by gender or physical attributes.  I have seen very impressive strong bodies with weak minds and vice versa.  Weak minds and strong bodies  do not produce strong people.   I have seen men with weak bodies that command respect and attention at the every word.   In this generation of social media I want to define what I believe is important to my readers.   Especially now in these great days of change.    There was a March this past weekend in celebration of Freedom and Civility.  There was also a lot of negativity surrounding it.    I am all about empowering women, actually all people for that matter.   What I am not going to engage in is the perpetuity of a negative mantra .  I am better than that.  Period. When you engage in  negativity by  continuing to speak about it gives it more energy. Aren’t we more evolved than that?  I thought millions of people watched The Secret or at least read it.

To be a strong woman, even if you don’t know you are, you have to behave like one.  Number one believe in yourself.  Keep your values sacred.  Understand your worth on this planet.   To be strong means you do not gossip, for you know that those that  gossip to you, will gossip about you.   This is a big one girls.  Refrain.  Isn’t your peace of mind worth it?

Strong women either ask for help or hire it.  There is no shame in asking for help.  Friends, neighbors and family.  Strong women understand we have but one life and it is better shared. Strong women know they can not do it all. Nor do they pretend to.  They gladly give credit where credit is do.   As a single mom working in a man’s world there were a couple of things I knew for sure.   I had to work and I needed help.  Fortunately I could hire someone to help me.   It cost a lot of money.  It was worth every dime.  The woman that helped me allowed me to have peace of mind and calm and security in my house. I do not feel less of a woman for working and having children.  I feel empowered.  I have two great kids that are well adjusted and have a complete understanding of the word independence.   It has not been easy but I would not have it any other way.

Strong women do not apologize for being strong , they own it like a badge of honor.   They say it takes a strong man to love a strong women.   I could not agree more.  More men have tried to control me ..rather than love me…  than I care to think about.    The reason I do not want to be controlled is  I want respect and understanding.  A  partnership is not one person paying for everything and calling all the shots.  I would rather be single.  So let me say this to all the Single ladies out there.   No one has “to put a ring on it” for you to be happy.  Choose happiness for yourself.  Happiness does not know or live in the town called Loneliness.   Strong women do not mind being alone.  As a matter of fact sometimes they prefer it.

 

I understand why women want to march.  What I would like to see is for more women to Own their power.   Let it be known  in your daily lives.   Not one person alive has the power over me in which I do not grant it.  Not a president or anyone else for that matter.  Why as women would we ever let stupid words have such a profound effect?   I have always thought when someone cuts someone else down, it says more about them than the people they are referring to.  Same thing as gossip.   No one will hold you back unless you give them the power to do so.   Move forward ladies, without rehashing what is wrong.   Move forward with the understanding how far you have come.   Understand that women contribute enormously  to our society economically and fundamentally.  Without us mankind could not survive.   That in of of itself is powerful.  Collectively we need to raise the conscious of the people around us.  We are strong, we are beautiful and we are brave.

When strong women love, they love all the way and 100%.

 

We need to be in charge of  more companies and run for public office without being afraid of rejection or juggling.   As half of the population and might I add the ones that live to be older, we  Women are a force to be recognized not just in the US but all over the world.   Let’s hire more women to be our doctors, lawyers, designers, advisors, actors, comedians,artists  and yes President.   Let’s do it every time for the right reason… because she is the most qualified. She is strong, she is powerful and she is damn sure of herself.  Our time is now in the present.  Wake up and understand that acting fearful feeds and lines the pockets of the media, it does not put bread on your table. It also creates more fear.  Please do not feed the Fear.  I respect all opinions… every gender, every race.   I have respect for peaceful demonstrations filled with Love not filled with hate. If every single woman would respond by helping another woman as often as possible we would advance by light speed.  Oh by the way,  that is pretty fast.
